How I Taught Him To Eat Veggies

As promised...

Cleaned carrot, celery, potato, and cauliflower

Cut into sticks

Steaming away for 30 mins (or until its soft enough to be munched by ur baby)

Ready to be served

I also found a cool way to revamp the ordinary rice porridge taste, courtesy of Catz (thanks girl :D)

Heat a small amount of oil on pan, saute crushed onions and garlic plus a lil pinch of salt until yellowish brown

Mix with porridge (trust me it tasted good), serve with the steamed veggies ;)

Btw, I handed the veggie sticks one by one and let him chews..

After....

Give it a shot mommies~

a comment frm a doc:

food taste good to you doesnt mean it good for weaning.

bila kita dah introduce makanan2 yang berperisa pada baby kita dr awal lagi, we increase the risk of junkfood lover. and the consequences is, awisy dah xmo makan makanan y tawar2 ni. semuanya nak berperisa. the healthy is the less salt.

btw, u r the best mom. Keep up. i think u need to study more about baby weaning.

my reply:

thanks doc.. appreciate ur comment.. yeah i know i hv lots more to learn abt baby weaning hehe..

anyway, fyi i only added a lil bit of salt on the onions.. the thing is, kalau x buat cm tu nanti dia 'luekkan' balik nasi tu.. huhuhu.. plus i didnt put any seasoning on the veggies.. and i only did this because there's no soup to accompany the dish..

i mean which one is better, no seasoning (salt) at all but none into his tummy, vs a lil bit of seasoning to induce his liking to healthy food :D

dont worry, i'm based on everything in moderation here...

any other comment/remark/suggestion? do share ur knowledge n experience here~

Cheers! :D

good one.. but my lil mikhael hanya makan nasi berperisa such as nasi ayam/nasi minyak/briani.. etc.. tapi tu pun tak byk.. and that's it.. lain-lain susu aje dia bantai...hehe..

dulu makan banyak..before he reach his 10months.. lepas tu dia minum susu je..ngan snaks.. nasi buat beriya2.. makan nya dua tiga suap je.. dan tak suka makan benda lembik..suma mau keras..
